JANAF’s excellent performance – profit up by 28%

Zagreb – JANAF Plc., as c company listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, on 26 April 2017, announced the unaudited consolidated and unconsolidated financial statements for the period from 1 January until 31 March 2017.

The first quarter of 2017 is marked by further growth of JANAF’s business results, during which JANAF achieved the gross profit in the amount of HRK 83,5 mil., which is for 24,4% higher compared to the same period of the previous year and the net profit in the amount of HRK 68,5 mil., which is for 27,5% higher compared to the same period of the year before.

The Company’s total revenues are up by 4,2% compared to those realised in the year before, while the revenues obtained from the core business show a 4,9% growth compared to those realised in the previous year.

Of the total revenues realised from the core business in the 1st quarter 2017, 71,3% is realised from doing business with foreign clients.

Namely, by the end of the last year and at the beginning of this year, JANAF has intensified its business activities by concluding new contracts with NIS-Gazpromneft, VITOL S.A. from Geneva, Unipetrol RPA from Prague, Crodux, Glencore from Baar (Switzerland) and MOL. It should be pointed out that these businesses under new contracts include, among others, new capacities, as result of JANAF’s investments made over the past two years.

Furthermore, the investment activities, which in the past years exceeded a billion kunas, have also continued in the year 2017.

In the stated period the Company’s financial indicators show the above average values– liquidity ratio 10,7, debt ratio 0, cost-effectiveness ratio 1,88, net profit margin 37,48%, EBITDA margin 74,26%.
