JANAF d.d. Award-winner for the Largest Price Growth of share in 2009

Zagreb - the award ceremony of the Golden Share and Golden Interest Awards was held on 17 December, 2010 at the headquarters of the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Zagreb which was organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the business weekly „Lider“, the company Kapital klub and the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

JANAF d.d. was the winner of the Largest share growth in 2009 according to the opinion of the pannel consisting of brokers and fund managers.

Atlanic Grupa d.d. was the winner of Golden Share of the Year as the best share in 2009 along with the award for Best Industrial Share in category food and drugs. The Best Industrial Share for 2009 in the category covering maritime affairs, transport, communications and construction went to Hrvatski Telekom. The Best Industrial Share in category other was given to Končar Elektroindustrija d.d. The Best Industrial Share in tourism went to Maistra d.d., Best Financial Share to Zagrebačka banka and Most Liquid Share to Institut IGH d.d.

Best Balanced Fund was given to HI-balanced, Best Bond Fund to ZB bond, Best Share Fund to PBZ I-Stock fund, Best Cash Fund to RBA Cash and ZB Invest won Best Fund Management Company award.

Mr Đuro Popijač, minister of economy, work and entrepreneurship, congratulated all winners on behalf of the Prime Minister and pointed out that Croatia has potential, excellence and capability and that it is the role of the government to recognize that and ensure that this excellence is transformed into a concrete business development. He also added that the fight against corruption continues because „it is what needs to be endured and needs to be conducted“.

The purpose of this event, that has been held traditionally for 13 years, is the media contribution to the development of this part of the financial market in Croatia and to honor stock companies and investment funds which, throughout a one-year period, have achieved the best results on Croatian and regional capital markets.
