JANAF concluded new contracts and won new markets

Zagreb – JANAF Plc. has continued with intensive business activities by signing the valuable long-term contracts with VITOL, Unipetrol and Crodux derivati dva, which will definitely result in the good business performance that will continue to be also achieved in the year 2017.

JANAF Plc. and VITOL S.A. concluded and signed the multi-year storage contract, while it entered into the multi-year contracts with CRODUX derivati dva Ltd. regarding the additional capacities for petroleum products storage at the Omišalj and Žitnjak Terminals. The total value of the above-mentioned contracts is over HRK 125 million.

Furthermore, DSc. Dragan Kovačević, Chairman of the JANAF Management Board, signed the multi-year contract on crude oil transport on the Omišalj – Gola section with Unipetrol RPA in Prague. The signing of this Contract is yet another proof that JANAF has been recognised by its foreign business partners as a safe and reliable partner that can fulfil the highest world’s standards in providing the services of crude oil transport and storage, which results in the continuation of achieving good business results on the foreign markets. As pointed out by DSc. Kovačević while signing the contract, it represented a further step towards strengthening the security and stability of the crude oil supply of the Czech Republic.

Moreover, wanting to hear the oil market needs and present its services to the existing and new business partners, JANAF recently organised in Zagreb the second international oil conference “Challenges & Cooperation Strengthening as Growth Drivers”. The conference gathered JANAF’s business partners from Croatia and countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe, as well as leading European oil experts in order to exchange opinions, information and experiences on the latest developments and trends in the oil industry, especially as regards crude oil transport and storage of crude oil and petroleum products, with the aim of fostering business cooperation and realization of the projects of common interest.

All of the previously mentioned will influence the JANAF’s stability as one of the most significant business entities in the Republic of Croatia and a major factor in the energy security of this part of Europe.
