Zagreb – Members of the Mediterranean Oil Industry Group (MOIG) visited JANAF's Omišalj Terminal on 27 October 2022 during their stay in Croatia for the Group's General Assembly and workshop.
Representatives of MOIG member oil companies were received by Terminal Manager Bruno Janković, who explained JANAF's transport and storage system and Omišalj Terminal's role within the system through a presentation and a guided tour of the Terminal.
In addition to the Group's annual General Assembly, a regional workshop on enhancing oil spill preparedness and response in the Adriatic and Mediterranean regions was held as part of this year's gathering.
MOIG is an association of oil companies founded with the intention of providing support and incentive for the continued improvement of the ability to provide effective answers and reactions to accidents by means of mutual regional cooperation. Oil industries in the Mediterranean area have been active members since 1995, while JANAF became a permanent member in 2003.
