JANAF Plc. has become a golden sponsor of the Croatian Water Polo Team and main sponsor of the Junior Water Polo Teams by signing Kn 1 million sponsorship contract.
Zagreb – Mr. Dubravko Tkalčić, Director General of JANAF Plc. and Mr. Perica Bukić, the President of Croatian Water Polo Federation signed Kn 1 million Sponsorship Contract at JANAF’s headquarters in Zagreb on 23 January 2008. JANAF Plc. has thus become a golden sponsor of Croatian Water Polo Team and main sponsor of the Croatian Water Polo Federation’s Junior Water Polo Teams.
Mr. Tkalčić said that good business results enabled the sponsoring of the projects important to the public, especially in the regions through which the pipeline route runs. These good business results also enabled the sponsorship of Croatian water polo.
Mr. Bukić thanked JANAF Plc. for sponsoring the Croatian water polo and pointed out that the players, both seniors and juniors, would participate in more of international competitions this year, the highlight being their participation at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Mr. Ratko Rudić, the Croatian Water Polo Federation Selector, was pleased to see JANAF Plc., a major Croatian company, supporting the ambitions of the Federation, especially in training junior teams.
At the Contract signing ceremony, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the fact that the Contract was signed in the Olympic year, which is also the centenary year of the Croatian water polo.
