JANAF participated for the first time as full member at the IAOT Conference

Zagreb – Member of the JANAF Management Board, Mr Vladislav Veselica participated on 26 November 2020 at the online conference of the representatives of the companies-members of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT).

Besides JANAF, the conference was attended by the representatives of Transneft, Transpetrol, MERO, Gomeltransneft Druzhba, MOL, KazTransOil, China National Petroleum Corporation, Ukrtransnafta and Caspian Pipeline Consortium. In their addresses, they talked about this particularly challenging business year and announced the business activities for the year 2021.

This year has been the year of numerous challenges for us all both on the global and national economic plan. Nevertheless, despite the COVID 19 pandemic, JANAF Plc. operated stably this year, ensuring high utilisation of its storage and transportation capacities”, pointed out in his address Mr Veselica, Member of the JANAF Management Board, adding that it confirmed that JANAF was recognised as a stable and reliable partner to all users of its services. Mentioning the recently concluded contracts on transportation and storage for the coming period, he has emphasised that those are the indicators for stable operation, growth and development and in 2021 they will enable new investments for further enhancements of the JANAF system, and consequently attracting new business partners. “Strengthen by such business forecasts it is to be expected that the year 2021 will be a successful business year for JANAF”, pointed out Mr Veselica.

JANAF Plc. became, in October this year, a full member of the International Association of Oil Transporters, established in 2013 with the aim of providing support to the association members in cooperation and development of the activities related to the transportation and storage of crude oil and petroleum products on the international, regional and national levels.
