Zagreb - Jadranski naftovod Plc concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with the Astana-based company JSC NC KazMunayGas on this day, 24 January 2024. The Memorandum concerns a possible future business collaboration in the area of oil transport and the storage of oil and derivatives.

JSC NC ''KazMunayGas'' is Kazakhstan's national oil and gas industry operator. The company yearly produces a quarter of Kazakhstan's total amount of crude oil, transports over half of the total amount of transported crude oil and manages 82% of the Republic of Kazakhstan's refining capacities. The company is active in the upstream, transport, processing, petrochemical industry and research in the area of oil and gas. The company has over 47.000 employees. Its revenue in 2022 amounted to 18,8 billion dollars and the company produced 22 million tons of crude oil, processed over 20 million tons and transported 75 million tons of oil.
