IMPORTANT! Notice – introduction of new safety measures against COVID-19

Zagreb - In order to take further protection measures against COVID-19, JANAF's Management Board has prepared this notice for all its business partners.

Based on the decision made by the Croatian Civil Protection Authority on 12 November 2021, in order to protect citizens from infection and transmission of the coronavirus and to control the COVID-19 epidemic, starting Tuesday, 16 November 2021, all business partners entering the Company's premises, all service providers working inside the premises, any other persons visiting the Company, and contractors at the Company’s locations and along the pipeline route, are required to present at all Company locations a valid EU Digital COVID certificate, or other relevant proof of vaccination, recovery or testing.

All persons using the official Company premises are obliged to follow all pandemic restrictions, special recommendations and instructions by the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ).

Information regarding the processing of personal health data during the COVID-19 crisis

The decision by the Civil Protection Authority of 12 November 2021 is a valid legal basis for the processing of data contained in the EU digital COVID certificate or any other test certificate. The processing of such data is considered to be lawful.

Since data pertaining to health represent a special category of personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), JANAF Plc. as the controller will make sure that their processing is necessary and proportionate, and that personal data are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed, according to Article 5 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data must and will only be used for purposes stated in the Civil Protection Authority’s decision.

The data collected will not be made available to unauthorized third parties, and JANAF Plc. as the controller will take technical, organisational and HR measures necessary to ensure data protection. JANAF Plc. will not collect or store health-related data
