This year 5th International Energy & Oil Conference entitled “Energy in the 21st Century”, on the occasion of celebrating JANAF’s 45th anniversary, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, was held in the Hotel Esplanade in Zagreb, on 3 December 2019.
We would like to convey our special thanks to dr.sc. Tomislav Ćorić, envoy of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and envoy of Croatian Prime Minister, mr.sc. Andrej Plenković, Minister of Environment and Energy, to dr.sc. Darko Horvat, Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, and to dr.sc. Mario Banožić, Minister of State Property, then to Nikolay Petrovich Tokarev, Chairman of the Management Board and President of Transneft and to Jaroslav Kocian, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT), and also the Chairman of the Management Board of Czech MERO oil pipeline, for their coming to the conference and giving the welcoming speeches, thus supporting the JANAF’s work.
We are proud that by gathering a tremendous number of Croatian and international representatives from the economic, expert, professional and scientific institutions, as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Croatia, we have made this conference the most numerous one so far.
