JANAF'S MANAGEMENT BOARD INSPECTED THE SISAK TERMINAL – WE WILL HELP THE EARTHQUAKE-STRICKEN AREAS

Zagreb – Today, on 30 December 2020, the Chairman and the Member of the Management Board of JANAF Plc., Stjepan Adanić, MSc. and Vladislav Veselica, accompanied by the Division Directors, the Sisak Terminal Manager and expert departments of the Company, inspected JANAF’s Sisak Terminal in order to get informed on the condition of the oil pipeline and storage system on the area hit by the earthquake. During the inspection, it has been determined that at the Sisak Terminal there are no damages to the system and that the minor construction damages occurred at the Terminal main office building and workshop without the statics disruption of these buildings. Also, the Management Board was informed on the consequences the earthquake caused to the employees of the Terminal, and it was decided that JANAF would help in the renovation of the residential building of its employees.

Furthermore, JANAF Plc. will engage in the direct donation of the financial funds to the Sisak-Moslavina County and the towns of Sisak, Petrinja and Glina. The Company will also donate the funds by payment to the bank account of the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia within the action “Help for recovery after the earthquake” to which the payments are to be received of the donated financial funds intended for recovery and rehabilitation of the earthquake-stricken area. 

JANAF is a socially responsible company and as such wants to help the local community in which it operates, and which was hit by a devastating earthquake. Such situations require prompt actions, and as the Company, we will make the decision on donating the financial funds to the earthquake-stricken areas of the Sisak-Moslavina County and the towns of Sisak, Petrinja and Glina. We are fortunate that no one of our employees was hurt and we will provide the help and assistance to our employees in rebuilding their homes.
