Zagreb – JANAF d.d. hosted the annual spring meeting of the CONCAWE Oil Pipelines Management Group (OPMG), which was held on April 12 and 13, 2023 at JANAF's Omišalj Terminal. The meeting brought together almost 20 representatives of European oil companies, including TAL, MOL, MERO, OMV, ExxonMobil, INA, BPA, RPR, Danish Oil Pipe, EXOLUM and others.
JANAF's oil and transport system was presented in the course of the meeting, with a focus on the position position it holds in the European oil pipeline network. The meeting also presented an opportunity for the mutual exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices of OPMG members, as well as an overview of activities for the coming period.
The CONCAWE Oil Pipelines Management Group represents the most significant European expert forum for the exchange of experiences between representatives of oil pipeline systems. JANAF d.d. joined CONCAWE in 2007. CONCAWE – the European Oil Company Organisation for Environment, Health and Safety was founded in 1963. Its mission is to gather and exchange scientific, technical, economic and legislative information relating to environmental safety, health and the safe processing and distribution of petroleum and its derivatives.
